What You Should Know about Botox when considering Permanent Makeup

Let’s start with the definition: Botox is a drug prepared from the bacterial toxin used cosmetically to remove wrinkles by paralyzing facial muscles temporarily.

Why is it important to know the definition of Botox?

If you are considering Permanent Makeup, you need to be aware that if you just had Botox done, you should wait at least 2 weeks before booking your Eyebrows Procedure. By that time, your muscles will be back to normal movement and you will be ready for Permanent Makeup.

What can happen if you don’t wait? Your eyebrows muscles will be a little stiff (remember that the nerves are blocked). That can interfere with the final results of your Eyebrows tattoo.
As the healing starts to happen, you can have two completely different eyebrows. One can be a little different from the other, and you will not be able to fix it. Remember, you got “Permanent Makeup” even though it is not really permanent it will last a while and I’m sure you do not want to walk around trying to hide your eyebrows for that long.

What should you do? Book your Permanent Makeup Procedure prior to Botox.
Now you will have the best of both worlds, beautiful eyebrows and skin!
Botox helps to limit facial muscles contractions; it can be beneficial to Permanent Makeup proper healing as well.
